Re:Car is looking for an energetic, organized, experienced PC Lan Tech and O365 Administrator Position to join our growing team.

Re:Car is looking for a dedicated and technically proficient IT professional with a strong focus on user support, hardware and software maintenance, and network troubleshooting. Experienced in providing comprehensive desktop, mobile, and network support to users across multiple locations, including four Troy, Michigan sites, and remote users. Adept at ensuring system reliability, security, and compliance while delivering exceptional customer service. Skilled in O365 administration, Azure AD, and user ID management, with a commitment to upholding ITIL best practices for incident management and service delivery.
Responsibilities:
Primary Responsibilities: Desktop, Network, and O365 Support
Desktop, Mobile and Network Support Primary Responsibilities:
- User Support: Providing technical support to end-users for hardware and software-related issues. This includes troubleshooting and resolving problems with desktops, laptops, printers, and other peripherals.
- Hardware Maintenance: Installing, configuring, and maintaining computer hardware components such as CPUs, RAM, hard drives, graphics cards, and network interface cards (NICs).
- Software Installation and Configuration: Installing, upgrading, and configuring operating systems, software applications, and device drivers on end-user devices.
- Network Troubleshooting: Identifying and resolving basic network connectivity issues, including problems with LAN cables, switches, and routers.
- Security Measures: Assisting in implementing and enforcing security policies, including antivirus software updates, firewall configurations, and user education on security best practices.
- Inventory Management: Maintaining an inventory of computer hardware and software assets, including tracking and managing equipment and licenses.
- Remote Assistance: Providing remote support to users through remote desktop tools, phone support, or email to resolve technical issues.
- Documentation: Creating and updating documentation, user manuals, and knowledge base articles to assist end-users and fellow IT staff.
- Troubleshooting and Diagnosis: Diagnosing hardware and software problems through the use of diagnostic tools, research, and problem-solving techniques.
- Routine Maintenance: Performing routine maintenance tasks, such as system updates, patches, and backups to ensure system reliability and security.
- End-User Training: Conducting training sessions or workshops for end-users to enhance their understanding of basic hardware and software usage.
- Collaboration: Collaborating with second-level support teams or network administrators for more complex technical issues that require escalation.
- Incident Reporting: Accurately documenting and reporting incidents, service requests, and resolutions in a helpdesk or ticketing system.
- Compliance: Ensuring compliance with IT policies, standards, and procedures related to hardware and software usage.
- Problem Resolution Follow-Up: Ensuring that resolved issues are followed up to verify user satisfaction and identify any recurring problems.
- Adherence to ITIL: Following ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) best practices for incident management and service delivery.
O365 Support and Administration:
Primary Responsibilities:
- Administration of the Microsoft Tenant including but not limited to Azure AD, User ID Creation, Modification and Support for extended Microsoft Security Stack (see secondary skills)
- Trouble shooting of Microsoft issues with users as first level support.
What you bring to the team:

Required Experience and Training
- 5+ Years working as a PC Lan Technician with extended knowledge in Networks, supporting users in a ServiceDesk forum.
- 5+ Years working as a Microsoft Administrator in O365 Cloud Environment.
- Deep knowledge of ITIL processes
- Relevant Microsoft certifications such as Microsoft 365 Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator, Microsoft 365 Certified: Security Administrator, or others.
Required Skills

- Technical Proficiency: Strong technical knowledge of computer hardware, operating systems (e.g., Windows, macOS), and common software applications.
- Software Installation: Proficiency in installing, configuring, and updating software applications and drivers.
- Hardware Maintenance: Skills in hardware maintenance, including assembling and disassembling computer components, upgrading RAM and storage, and replacing peripherals.
- Troubleshooting Skills: Ability to diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues efficiently.
- Networking Basics: Basic understanding of networking concepts, including IP addressing, subnetting, and LAN configurations.
- User Account Management: Knowledge of user account creation, modification, and permissions management in a network environment.
- Security Awareness: Awareness of security best practices and the ability to assist in implementing security measures (e.g., antivirus updates, user education).
- Documentation Skills: Ability to create and maintain documentation, user manuals, and knowledge base articles.
- Remote Support: Familiarity with remote support tools and techniques for aiding off-site users.
- Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills to identify and resolve technical issues effectively.
- Time Management: Effective time management and multitasking skills to handle multiple support requests concurrently.
- M365 Administration: Proficiency in Microsoft 365 administration, including user management, licensing, and permissions.
- Desktop and Mobile Management: Experience in managing and maintaining desktop and mobile devices within the Microsoft 365 environment.
- Microsoft Stack: Knowledge of other Microsoft 365 components such as SharePoint, Exchange, Teams, and OneDrive.
- Microsoft Teams: Familiarity with Microsoft Teams administration and integration.
- Troubleshooting Skills: Proficient troubleshooting skills to address desktop, mobile, and Microsoft 365-related issues effectively.
- Documentation: Ability to create and maintain documentation for configurations, policies, and procedures.
- Attention to Detail: Attention to detail when documenting incidents, performing routine maintenance, and managing inventory.
- Adaptability: Flexibility and adaptability to work in a dynamic IT environment and learn new technologies as needed.
- Team Collaboration: Ability to collaborate with IT teams, including second-level support and network administrators, for issue escalation and resolution.
- Knowledge of ITIL: Familiarity with ITIL principles and practices, especially related to incident management.
- Compliance Awareness: Understanding of IT policies, standards, and procedures to ensure compliance.
Preferred skills and qualifications
- Experience in Advanced Microsoft Applications and Security Tools: including Intune (MDM, MAM), PowerShell, DLP, Sentinel, ATP.
- Azure Active Directory: Knowledge of Azure AD for identity management and authentication.
- Advanced Security Configuration: Ability to configure advanced security settings within Microsoft 365.
- Power Automate (Flow): Knowledge of Power Automate for workflow automation.
- Power BI: Familiarity with Power BI for reporting and data visualization.
- Communication: Strong communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and end-users, providing technical support and guidance.
- E Vendor Collaboration: Experience in collaborating with Microsoft or other vendors for issue resolution and update.
