JOB DESCRIPTION: TORC Robotics, Inc. seeks a Senior Software Engineer based out of our U.S. headquarters in Blacksburg, Virginia. However, this is a purely telecommuting/work-from-home position whereby the employee may reside anywhere within the U.S. Job duties: Integration and configuration of the AUTOSAR stack (e.g. Vector) on the Nvidia Functional Safety Island and the Aurix Safety Microcontroller. AUTOSAR Base Stack Configuration: Bootloader, MCAL, COM Stack (CAN, Some/IP, DDS), Security Stack, SecOC, Diagnostic Stack, etc. System Configuration, ECU configuration, ECU extract integration. Test AUTOSAR Configuration in SiL, HiL, Bench, & Vehicle. Creation of the Software Architecture using modeling tools such as PreeVision. Deriving Code Templates from Architecture using tools as DaVinci & EB Tresos. Support in porting of existing C++/ROS applications to embedded C. Implementation of ported ROS application into the AUTOSAR classic stack.

Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a foreign equivalent and 5 years of experience in a related position. Must have experience with: Configuration of AUTOSAR Classic Stacks; C++ and Embedded C Coding; Automotive embedded controllers; DaVinci Configurator and DaVinci Developer for AUTOSAR Classic Base Configuration and EB Tresos for MCAL integration; Infineon Aurix MCU's; Development of Autosar Embedded Software for Class 8 Trucks; and Architecture, design and development of C code that follows the ISO 26262 standard.

Alternative Requirements: Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a foreign equivalent and 3 years of experience in a related position. Must have experience with: Configuration of AUTOSAR Classic Stacks; C++ and Embedded C Coding; Automotive embedded controllers; DaVinci Configurator and DaVinci Developer for AUTOSAR Classic Base Configuration and EB Tresos for MCAL integration; Infineon Aurix MCU's; Development of Autosar Embedded Software for Class 8 Trucks; and Architecture, design and development of C code that follows the ISO 26262 standard.
