The Enterprise Customer Solutions Vice President initiates, maintains and expands relationships with strategically targeted opportunities & customers that meet defined target account criteria. This role will be assigned to cover a national set of customer strategic targets and will be measured based on the initiation of new account relationships and closed (won) business with these targeted accounts. This position will be responsible for identifying opportunities to utilize TRIMEDX full portfolio of products and solutions and driving individual account revenue via comprehensive program offerings. Additionally, the position will be responsible for cross functional management of the customer relationship in collaboration with Executive Leadership, Marketing, BDS, Client Services, Legal, Operations and the other functional department leaders through the contracting and close process. This position requires significant travel.
The Enterprise Customer Solutions Vice President will represent the entire range of TRIMEDX products and services to assigned target accounts and customers, while leading the customer account planning cycle and ensuring that the customer’s needs and expectations are met during the CSA, pricing, & legal phases while leading these processes to the close of the account (go-live).
Location: Eastern or Central Time Zone; with close proximity to a major airport. Our Central Office is located on the northwest side of Indianapolis. Position requires 50-75% travel to meetings & client hospital sites.

Responsibilities
Strategic Account Acquisition and Management & Development (50%)
- Works with Commercial Leadership and Marketing to identify and maintain an accurate national target account list per strategic opportunities.
- Participates in a joint company-strategic account planning processes that develop mutual performance objectives, financial targets, and critical milestones for defined periods.
- Attends industry events, meetings, tradeshows to meet new contacts and introduce the TRIMEDX brand.
- Utilizes marketing campaigns, tradeshow contacts, and call plans to create new business opportunities.
- Establishes productive, professional relationships with key contacts in defined target accounts.
- Completes a strategic assessment of the target account. Leads solution development efforts that best address customer needs, while coordinating the involvement of all necessary company personnel.
- Proactively assesses, clarifies, and validates customer needs throughout the sales process.
- Enlists the support of Commercial Ops, Business Development, Marketing/Customer Engagement, Implementation and Operations to ensure an effective initiation and ongoing customer relationship.
- Meets annual goals for account/relationship development and delivery of sales presentations to target account executives.
- Meets annual sales revenue targets and strategic Commercial goals.
- Attends training, applies learning, and provides productive feedback to Product Development and Marketing teams.
Negotiate and Close Business Opportunities (25%)
- Utilize sales process to define customer needs, forecast sales, and define financial consequences as the basis for measuring commercial goals and revenue requirements.
- Maintain communication with TRIMEDX Commercial and Corporate leadership while engaging large Alpha opportunities.
- Ensuring strong relationship with TRIMEDX Legal team to drive accuracy and speed to account close.
- Create opportunity qualification documentation.
- Demonstrate sales cycle control.
- Collaborate and drive the creation of solution-based proposals.
- Schedule and deliver proposals/presentations to external buying committees.
- Utilize closing and negotiating techniques.
Current Account Management (15%)
- Support retention activities and lead strategic client service management of designated accounts by Commercial leadership.
- Meet sales and growth goals measured by netting customer losses vs awards.
- Maintain a connection with the TRIMEDX Corporate Office to establish and maintain key relationships with Marketing, Client Services, Implementation, Operations, Legal, Regulatory, HR, Finance, and IT to ensure client value and retention is obtained.
CRM Documentation (10%)
- Document all activity with target accounts and contacts in CRM.
- Assure all account and contact documentation is completed in CRM prior to account transitioning to customer.
- Provide updates for sales review meetings and Sales Pipeline Report.
Leadership: Provide clear direction to ensure collective achievement of goals and objectives. Create an environment of respect, collaboration, and open communication.
Support development needs of the broader team by engaging with and mentoring junior associates in same groups and departments, as an indirect leader within the organization.
Create high levels of associate engagement across teams in partnership with other key leaders within broader teams.
All other duties as assigned.
Skills and Experience
• Minimum of 12 years of overall experience with a minimum of 8 years of business and/or client strategic selling experience and a minimum of 4 years of experience in building complex solution-based sales and/or client retention strategies is required. Role does not have direct reports but operates as an indirect leader and mentor across the organization.
• Knowledge of the US health care and/or medical device industry preferred.
• Knowledge of strategic selling practices in the healthcare market preferred.
• Ability to access, engage and build credibility with C-level leaders and decision makers.
• Experience leading a team at a national-level preferred.
• Strong financial, people leadership and coaching skills required.
• Ability to develop and manage robust pipeline; control sales cycle.
• Notable achievements in creating opportunities and closing significant sales or retention efforts.
• Ability to employ customer relationship management tools.
• Ability to translate customer needs into client-specific solutions.
• Strategic planning skills to target and pursue sales opportunities.
• Excellent negotiating and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent public speaking and presentation skills; strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in the use of MS Office applications required; including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, Project and Outlook
• 50-75% travel required.
Education and Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in business, sales, marketing or a related field; MBA or MS preferred.
