YOUR MISSION
True Anomaly is seeking a highly motivated and multi-faceted Security Professional to assume the position of Contractor Program Security Officer (CPSO) and Facilities Security Officer (FSO). A strong candidate for this role possesses experience navigating the complexities of Sensitive Compartmented Information Facilities (SCIF) and Special Access Programs (SAP), an understanding of physical security requirements, and working knowledge of NISPOM, ICD 705, JSIG, and DD-254 FCL process, and accreditation.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform (FSO) and (CPSO) duties by working closely with security management and assigned program staff on all aspects of industrial security and program security.
- Implement, and administer, Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) and Special Access Programs (SAPs), as well as assist in the implementation of all compliant security policies and procedures for classified/proprietary materials, documents, and equipment.
- Support facilities in construction and accreditation efforts following ICD705 guidance.
- Administer the SCI Nomination process by processing, logging, and preparing incoming and outgoing SCI Nomination packages.
- Act as the classified document control custodian to include maintenance of logs and tracking documents in transition.
- Interpret and enforce customer and company security policies and provide direction and guidance to site and program personnel.
- Interface with program managers and maintain liaison with customer program security officers.
- Provide prime/subcontractor security support and direction including the development and maintenance of DD254's and security guidance.
- Provide classification guidance to employees, develop and provide security education and awareness training, conduct security briefings, lead security self-inspections and audits, and investigate security incidents.
- Engage with national security agencies, including the Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA), to ensure compliance with security requirements and regulations.
- Perform COMSEC custodian duties, to include receipt and maintenance of inventory database, safeguarding COMSEC equipment, coordinating shipments, and reporting.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Active TS/SCI security clearance, with the understanding that selection may subject you to a government security clearance investigation to meet classified information access requirements. Eligibility includes U.S. citizenship.
- Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field with a minimum of 5 years of security-related experience, or 9 years’ experience in lieu of a degree, with a proven track record of evaluating and applying security principles and government special security regulations (e.g., SAP, OPSEC, COMSEC, DCID, NISPOM, DoD Manual 5205.07 Vols I - IV, ICD 705, JSIG, RMF)
- Demonstrated expertise in SCIF and SAP environments, with a deep understanding of the specific security challenges and requirements.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team, displaying strong leadership and decision-making capabilities.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute security policy, plans, and procedures.
- Experience with National Background Investigation Services (NBIS) and National Industrial Security System (NISS), showcasing proficiency in handling security clearance processes and familiarity with industrial security reporting requirements.
Preferred:
- Previous experience as a COMSEC custodian
- Demonstrated proficiency in current crypto devices/methods as well as COMSEC principles and practices
- Completion of IAEC 2112 (NSA COMSEC Managers Course) or be required to complete within 6 months of assignment
- Completion of KMI Management Client (MGC) Operator Training Course or be required to complete within 6 months of assignment
COMPENSATION
- Base Salary: $140,000-$185,000
- Equity + Benefits including Health, Dental, Vision, HRA/HSA options, PTO and paid holidays, 401K, Parental Leave
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
- Work Location—Successful candidates will be located near Denver, CO. While we observe a hybrid work environment, some work must be done on site.

- Physical demands—the physical demands of the job, including bending, sitting, lifting and driving.
