We are actively seeking a post-production video production manager who is responsible for meticulously planning, organizing, and reviewing all logistical aspects of a video production from filming to post. This begins with tracking in-studio, remote, and asynchronous productions for hundreds of lessons. Once content is filmed, assigning and tracking editing projects based on business priorities and deadlines. Review videos to ensure quality standards are upheld…all while adhering to project goals and deadlines.
Key responsibilities:
- Crew assembly:
Identify available contractors editors for upcoming projects. - Scheduling:
Update schedule, including internal and external deadlines, based on build team’s launch timelines. - Risk assessment:
Communicate early and often to larger build team if time needed to create conflicts with the launch schedule. - Communication and collaboration:
Maintain open communication with the Producers, Technical Content Developers, Designers, Editors, Pre-production Manager and Video Team Manager to keep everyone informed about pre-production progress and address any concerns. - Editor/Producers meetings:
Conduct regular meetings in collaboration with the Lead Editor to discuss quality standards, schedules, and tooling needed to create high-quality videos.
Required skills:
- Strong organizational skills:
Ability to manage complex schedules, multiple moving parts, and tight deadlines effectively. - Budgeting expertise:
Understanding of production costs both stateside and abroad. - Technical knowledge:
Familiarity with designing tools, AI content creation tools, and Adobe Creative Suite. - Communication skills:
Excellent verbal and written communication to clearly convey information to the crew and stakeholders. - Problem-solving abilities:
Capability to anticipate and address potential issues before they arise on set.
Leadership qualities:
Ability to manage and motivate a team of diverse crew members.
Location: While this is a remote role, applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States of America on a full-time basis
Compensation: The maximum base pay for this position is $105,000, depending on experience and location.
