Account Manager
Note: We are not a remote company. If you don't live in Cincinnati, then we are not the right company for you. We do our best work face-to-face in a beautiful city, in a great office.
Digital Account Manager
Location: Cincinnati, Ohio. In-office, full-time.
At US Digital Partners (USDP), we bridge the gap between where brands are and where they want to be by creating stellar digital marketing. Websites, ads, videos, strategy, content, analytics—if it’s digital, it's likely we do it. Our team plans, designs, builds, measures, and improves tactics until we get real results for our clients. We work with some of the best clients on the planet, helping them feel like we’re in the next room, even when we aren’t. And we work in rad new offices in downtown Cincinnati.
Right now, we’re looking for a Digital Account Manager—someone who’s equal parts communicator, organizer, and strategist.
What you’ll do as an account manager
You’ll be the go-to person for several client accounts, making sure projects move forward, budgets stay intact, and everyone knows what’s happening next. You’ll be part translator, part team captain, and full-time relationship builder.
An account manager’s days often look like this:
- Leading day-to-day communication and project planning for several client relationships.
- Partnering with business development leads to onboard new clients and finish projects with excellence.
- Asking smart questions and facilitating strategy conversations with clients to uncover what they really need (with team support).
- Translating client needs into clear, actionable tasks for designers, developers, and writers.
- Keeping projects on track using tools like Basecamp, Google Docs/Sheets/Slides.
- Over-communicating (in a good way). You’ll manage expectations, navigate different perspectives, and make sure everyone’s aligned, both on our team and on the client side.
- Reframing technical jargon into everyday language. You’re the bridge between brilliant ideas and practical execution for our clients.
- Stepping into meetings, giving presentations, and offering feedback with confidence—even if your palms are a little sweaty.
What makes you an all-star in this role
You're not a designer, writer, or developer—but you’ve worked closely with all of them. You’ve spent several years on digital projects and understand what it takes to bring them across the finish line. You’re organized, unflappable, and you actually like talking to clients face-to-face.
Here’s what we’re looking for:
- 3+ years of experience in a digital agency or similar environment.
- Comfort working across websites, ads, videos, apps, and other stuff—even if you’re not the one making them.
- Experience managing projects and collaborating with designers, developers, writers, and clients.
- A Bachelor’s degree (bonus points for anything related to marketing, communications, or business).
- Confidence presenting ideas to clients and internal teams, with a knack for keeping everyone calm, clear, and moving forward.
- Experience with project management tools, even if they’re not the ones in our toolbox.
- Organized, detail-obsessed, and adaptable when priorities shift (as they do).
- Ownership mentality: you don’t wait to be told what to do—you anticipate, initiate, and follow through.
- Curiosity and critical thinking: you like asking questions and digging for the why behind a request.
- The ability to have honest, tactful conversations when something’s off track.
Where you’ll start
If you’ve already led projects and managed clients, great. If you’ve been a key part of successful digital campaigns and are ready to lead, we’re open to that too.
You’ll work closely with a senior account manager to learn our process, then take the reins on your own accounts. We move fast, and we’ll expect you to learn quickly, but you won’t be flying solo. We’re a collaborative team, and we support each other.
What success looks like
- Clients see you as a trusted advisor, an extension of their team who knows their business, stays in touch, and delivers consistent results.
- Your projects run smoothly, meet deadlines, and stay on budget.
- You’re the calm in the chaos—internally and externally.
- Our team loves working with you because you keep everyone in sync, and they know what to expect.
The benefits
- Great paychecks
- 401(k) + company matching
- Health insurance
- 15 PTO days plus 8 to 10 national holidays
- Maternity/paternity leave
- Downtown Cincinnati parking (paid for by us)
- Professional development opportunities
- Bonuses based on performance
- Casual, supportive office culture—no egos, no politics
- Social events, some involving adult beverages
- A client mix that ranges from Fortune 500s to family-run businesses
- A debt-free, independently owned agency that invests in its people
