VAI is currently seeking to hire an Investment Analyst III. This individual will play a key role in supporting the management of a globally diversified investment portfolio across multiple asset classes, including public equities, fixed income, private equity, hedge funds, and real assets. They will support sourcing, due diligence, portfolio monitoring, investment analysis, and reporting functions in collaboration with senior team members.

Your key responsibilities in this role will include the following:

· Support the development and implementation of investment strategies across asset classes.

· Assist the due diligence process on prospective investments, including qualitative and quantitative analysis.

· Monitor existing investments, track performance, and report on manager and asset class-level developments.

· Assist in preparing materials for the Investment Committee.

· Perform macroeconomic and thematic research to support asset allocation and investment decision-making as directed.

· Build and maintain financial models and analytical tools to evaluate portfolio exposures, liquidity, and risk metrics.

· Collaborate with the Investment Team and other departments such as finance and legal to ensure operational alignment. Must be willing to support cross-functional areas within the Institute.

As a key member of the Investment team, the ideal Investment Analyst will possess:

· Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, accounting, or related field; advanced degree (MBA or equivalent) is a plus.

· 5-7 years of professional experience in investment management, asset allocation, or financial analysis.

· CFA designation highly preferred.

· Strong understanding of institutional investment principles and a range of asset classes. Generalist experience preferred.

· Demonstrated analytical and quantitative skills with proficiency in Excel, Bloomberg, and investment databases.

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

· High level of integrity, intellectual curiosity, and attention to detail. Must be self-motivated with goal of adding value to investment decision making process.
