The laboratory of Dr. Josh Jang in the Department of Cell Biology is expanding our research team for the study of bladder cancer progression. As a full-time (~40 hours per week) Postdoctoral Fellow, you will participate in projects aimed at dissecting the molecular mechanisms that drive tumor hyperproliferation after immunotherapy using in vitro and in vivo preclinical models.
A Postdoctoral Fellow is an integral member of any laboratory. You will participate in multiple lab projects and be given the opportunity to contribute as an author to lab publications, to mentor students and lab technicians, and to prepare for your next career step.
Qualifications:
- A recent Ph.D. in molecular biology, cell biology, cancer biology, (epi)genetics/genomics, biochemistry, or related fields.
- Hybrid wet lab and bioinformatic experience would be preferred.
Desired Skills:
- Animal research
- Biochemistry (protein extraction, Western blot)
- Molecular biology (PCR, cloning)
- Long read, single-cell, or spatial -omics library construction and analysis experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Maintenance of lab notebook
