GRC is at an inflection point. Security and compliance programs have historically run on manual processes, spreadsheet workflows, and a lot of human judgment applied to repetitive decisions. That's changing, and Vanta is driving much of that change.
As a Group Product Manager on our team, you'll own product areas at the center of how customers actually run their security and compliance programs day to day. These are the surfaces every Vanta customer touches and where AI can do the most to change how compliance work actually gets done. This isn't about adding an AI layer on top of existing workflow engines. It's about rethinking how thousands of organizations manage their security programs, and building the product teams that ship that vision. You'll lead a group of PMs, set strategy across multiple product areas, and work at the intersection of Vanta's enterprise growth and our AI-first product direction.
Vanta's PM team is high-agency, AI-native, and deeply customer-centric. Our PMs own the vision and strategy for their product areas with a strong bias for action and sharp frameworks for making decisions. You'll be leading and developing people who already operate with a lot of autonomy, and your job is to make them even better.
What you’ll do as a Group Product Manager at Vanta:
Own product strategy and outcomes across your product group — these areas directly drive customer retention, expansion, and competitive differentiation
Lead and develop a team of PMs, coaching them on strategy, execution, and stakeholder management while building the team to keep pace with Vanta's growth
Define and execute product strategies that drive measurable business outcomes, including customer retention, expansion, and competitive differentiation
Expand the serviceable addressable market for your product areas by evolving capabilities and identifying new strategic opportunities
Drive business strategy that accelerates growth and positions Vanta to win in the GRC and security markets
Champion an AI-first approach across your product areas, identifying opportunities to leverage AI for competitive advantage and ensuring strategies align with Vanta's AI vision
Partner closely with Engineering, Design, and Analytics counterparts to ensure strong triad relationships, healthy team dynamics, and consistent delivery
Collaborate with go-to-market teams—Sales, Customer Success, Product Marketing—to align product strategy with market needs and ensure customer feedback informs roadmaps
Coach, mentor, and develop Product Managers on your teams, providing guidance on product strategy, execution, stakeholder management, and career growth
Hire and grow your teams as needed, building a strong talent bench and fostering Vanta's product culture
Serve as a culture champion, modeling Vanta's principles and ensuring teams operate with the right values and behaviors
How to be successful in this role:
8+ years of product management experience in high-growth and complex B2B SaaS environments
3+ years of experience directly managing product teams, including coaching and developing senior Product Managers
A track record of setting clear product vision and driving teams to deliver measurable business outcomes (revenue, retention, adoption)
Strong strategic thinking combined with execution discipline—you can set direction and ensure teams ship results
Excitement about leveraging AI to create step-function improvements in product experiences, with ability to evaluate opportunities and guide teams to deliver AI products that create real value
Deep customer empathy and commitment to staying close to users, with expectations that your teams do the same
Proven ability to cultivate productive relationships with go-to-market teams and influence GTM strategy through product insights
Strong frameworks and processes that enable teams to move quickly, deliver consistently, and maintain high quality
Experience at companies of similar stage and scale to Vanta (mid-size, scaling B2B SaaS)
Bonus: Experience with access management, identity, GRC, security, or compliance products
