GSI Director - Deloitte (Remote - US)

The Global Alliance Director for Deloitte is responsible for all aspects of our Deloitte partnership, including developing the partnership strategy and delivering new business to Veeam through a joint go-to-market with Deloitte. In this role, you’ll get the opportunity to develop the global strategy, define the goals, create strategic initiatives, and then execute, using your business development, sales, and relationship skills. Driving and accelerating Veeam’s growth with Deloitte is the primary function of this position, and you will engage closely with both Veeam and Deloitte executives, sales, pre-sales, and channel teams, product management, and alliance marketing.
Preference for candidates based in/around the Chicago-area, but the role is open/available for qualified candidates across the US.
Responsibilities:
- Strategic Planning: Develop and execute an annual business plan with Deloitte that accelerates revenue and new customer growth
- Strategic Partnership Development: Collaborate with Deloitte to develop the partnership, explore and identify innovative areas of collaboration that align with organizational goals, and enhance the partnership's overall leadership
- Research and Analysis: Conduct comprehensive market research and analysis to understand emerging trends, ensuring that our partnership with Deloitte remains competitive and forward-thinking
- Business Development: Own and ensure the execution of the Deloitte Business Plan with Deloitte through the enablement of the GEOs, Alliance partners, and field. Implement robust risk assessment frameworks in collaboration with Deloitte to identify business status and develop proactive strategies to mitigate potential market and business changes
- Collaboration and Engagement: Foster strong relationships with Deloitte representatives and internal stakeholders to facilitate knowledge sharing, training, and joint initiatives that promote best practices in jointly designed solutions. Work closely with the Deloitte Business Unit, Geos, Marketing, and channel teams to develop structured plans to be deployed Globally
- Innovation and Continuous Improvement: Drive initiatives that implement cutting-edge Deloitte–Veeam solutions and explore areas of collaboration
- Training and Development: Organize training sessions and workshops for staff to elevate awareness and Veeam skills within Deloitte
- Performance Metrics and Reporting: Establish key performance indicators to measure the impact of the Deloitte partnership
- Integration and Implementation: Lead efforts to integrate Veeam software products into Deloitte products, solutions, and offerings
- Ensure we build relationships at the highest level within Deloitte to drive alignment and commitment to the partnership. Drive peer-to-peer alignment between the Veeam and the Deloitte teams. Build senior executive champions to drive change and overcome hurdles. Drive Veeam mindshare within Deloitte through regular communication (win stories, etc.) and relationship cadence
Qualifications:
- A least 10 years of relevant work experience, preferably in global alliance management or leadership with direct experience of managing Deloitte
- At least 8 years of experience working for or with Deloitte, where you understand how Deloitte works and with established contacts and relationships with key executives at Deloitte
- Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent time in the workforce
- Proven experience in management and control alliance investments to drive pipeline generation initiatives as part of the business plan (Sales Incremental Funds, MDF, POE)
- Proven track record of developing Deloitte into a strategic global alliance partner
- Ability to travel up to 50% of the time for business needs
- Benefit/Preference for candidates who also have PWC and E&Y experience
