This role will serve as a highly autonomous program lead and strategic operator, helping drive execution across a broad portfolio of work spanning strategy, advanced analytics, data science, and risk and controls.

The successful candidate will be an exceptional problem solver with strong judgment who can operate effectively in ambiguous environments, independently structure work, and drive priorities forward with limited direction. This role is designed for someone who not only manages complex initiatives, but who also improves how work gets done—simplifying processes, strengthening operating discipline, and making teams more effective.

This position plays a critical role in translating strategy into execution while ensuring work is well governed, well documented, and aligned with Wells Fargo’s risk management expectations.

In this role, you will:

  • Lead execution of strategic initiatives across Branch Distribution Strategy & Analytics, driving progress across multiple workstreams and stakeholders
  • Independently structure complex and ambiguous work, develop actionable plans, and drive follow-through with minimal oversight
  • Serve as a trusted partner to senior leadership by helping translate priorities into coordinated execution, decision materials, and clear outcomes
  • Partner closely with strategy, advanced analytics, data science teams, bringing sufficient technical fluency to understand work, ask effective questions, and coordinate across teams
  • Identify opportunities to streamline, simplify, and improve how the team operates, reducing friction and making execution easier and more scalable
  • Proactively identify operational, execution, or control risks and drive remediation in partnership with Risk Management, Control, and Audit teams
  • Help identify, document, and strengthen controls and procedures related to analytics, data, and strategy processes
  • Establish and improve operating rhythms, workflows, and processes that enhance clarity, accountability, and team effectiveness
  • Develop executive-ready updates, presentations, and decision-support materials
  • Leverage GenAI tools in day-to-day work and identify practical opportunities to improve workflow efficiency, quality, and productivity
  • Influence across a matrixed organization and drive accountability without direct authority

Required Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • 4+ years of Program Management, Program Lead, Process Management, or experience

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience leading or supporting complex programs, projects, or initiatives across multiple teams and stakeholders
  • Strong program and project management capabilities, including planning, dependency management, milestone tracking, and execution discipline
  • Experience working closely with technical teams, such as advanced analytics, data science, modeling, or technology, to deliver business outcomes
  • Experience operating in a regulated environment with knowledge of risk management, controls, governance, and process discipline
  • Experience supporting control-related activities, including procedure documentation, risk assessments, issue management, remediation efforts, or audit readiness
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills, with the ability to bring structure to ambiguous or complex situations
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including experience developing executive-ready presentations and materials
  • Demonstrated ability to influence, collaborate, and drive progress in a matrixed organization without direct authority
  • Experience identifying opportunities to improve processes, streamline workflows, and enhance operational effectiveness
  • Familiarity with GenAI tools and an experience in applying them in day-to-day work to improve efficiency, quality, or productivity
