At wheel.me we are aiming to help people improve the way they live and work by enabling "everything" indoors to move effortlessly on smart wheels. We have invented the first and only autonomous wheel in the world, and now we want you to join our team.

We are expanding the company globally and are looking for a full-time Robotics Deployment Intern to collaborate with a talented team for on-site deployments and maintenance of our wheel.me robotics solutions at customer sites in Summer 2024. This internship requires a unique combination of mechatronics skills, customer service skills, and effective internal and external communication. You will travel extensively (75%) in this role with all expenses paid.

What you will be doing at wheel.me:

• Maintenance of already deployed robotic solutions, including robotic hardware and software
• Work directly with our Robotics Field Engineers to troubleshoot the robots at customer sites
• Ensure customer satisfaction while on-site
• Ensure the smooth operations of the robots on-site by working hand-in-hand with customers
• Travel to customer sites is required for this role

• Must be currently pursuing a BS or Master in Computer Science, Robotics, Mechatronics, Engineering, or a related technical field
• Have the desire to be a hands-on problem solver who is passionate about getting the job done
• Can excel in a customer environment, able to represent and evangelize wheel.me in customer interactions
• Are self-motivated and able to solve problems
• Are able to thrive in a fast-paced environment with tight timelines
• Have strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with internal and external teams
• Have knowledge of and interest in diverse technical topics, including software, hardware, and robotics.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and a car that you can use to drive to client sites
