As a Category Manager Technical Spends, in alignment and collaboration with other Category Managers, you will be responsible for leading sourcing activities and category strategy implementation for assigned technical categories at both Budapest and Copenhagen manufacturing sites of Xellia.


Main Responsibilities


• Accountable for contributing to Category Strategies and for delivering projects towards the Category Strategies
• Drives projects within assigned categories
• Understand all needs and priorities of the stakeholders for a defined category
• Lead procurement activities from preparation of procurement plan, through tender and negotiations to contract is signed
• Identify and evaluate new potential suppliers in all areas of responsibility and as per valid procedures
• Negotiate and implement contracts with suppliers
• Define and execute initiatives which will assure the strategy implementation
• Initiate, manage and support local cost saving and efficiency projects
• Manage spend and savings data related to sites under territory
• Report savings and other relevant activities data on time in full
• Strong focus on Total Cost of Ownership (TCO)
• Contribute to maintain an OTIF in line with Xellia's defined target

What We Expect


• Bachelor’s degree in in related field required (i.e. Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, Engineering)
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience from similar role in Procurement in mid-to-large multinational companies (life sciences, medical device or pharmaceutical industries preferred)
• Experience with e.g. MRO, Capex, facility management and industrial services
• Strong analytical and negotiation skills
• Fluent in Hungarian and English (spoken and written)
