What do we need:

We need a Forecast Analyst to join our Global Demand Planning team and support Demand Planning activities across the ESAN / Central Asia / India region. This role will partner closely with regional and market stakeholders to develop and maintain high-quality demand forecasts, identify risks and opportunities, and provide insights that support effective business and supply chain decision-making. The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical capabilities, an understanding of forecasting and demand planning principles, and the ability to translate data and business inputs into actionable demand plans.

What’s special about this role:

In this role, you will be an important part of our Global Demand Planning organization, with primary responsibility for supporting the ESAN / Central Asia / India region. You will work across markets and product categories to develop, analyze, and maintain demand forecasts for both new and existing products while helping improve forecast accuracy, bias, and overall planning performance.

You will partner with Local Markets, Center Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain, and other cross-functional stakeholders to understand business drivers, promotions, product launches, risks, and opportunities that may impact future demand. You will use data, analytics, and business insights to challenge assumptions, recommend forecast adjustments, and communicate changes and potential impacts to key stakeholders.

The role will also support key Demand Planning initiatives and continuous improvement efforts, including improving forecasting processes, strengthening planning discipline, and increasing the effective use of Demand Planning tools and analytics. The insights you provide will help improve product availability, support inventory and supply decisions, and enable the business to better anticipate changing customer and market demand.

Required qualifications:

• BA/BS degree in Mathematics, Data Analytics, Economics, Statistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years’ of experience in a role working with data and interpretation of trends, preferably with a background in Demand Planning or Supply Chain.
• Knowledge of forecasting concepts and applications such as statistical and ML/AI modeling, incremental, cannibalization, attendant rationale, probabilities, etc.
• Familiarity with predictive and Statistical & ML/AI model concepts such as common model types, feature selection, supervised/unsupervised learning, overfitting, etc

• Ability to combine business acumen with analytical ability to sift effectively through available data, overlaying all this with technical competency to illustrate this analysis to senior-level stakeholders and the wider business.
• Effectively communicating and presenting complex technical data (both verbally and written) to influence all levels and global audiences; helps others understand technical data and translate it into actionable business insights.
• Ability to manage multiple concurrent objectives, projects, groups, or activities, making effective judgments as to prioritizing and time allocation.
• Ability to develop and maintain effective and productive relationships, including ability to influence, negotiate and manage conflicts effectively and constructively with clients, vendors and peers.
