What You’ll Do
As a Marketing Specialist, your core responsibilities will be:
Event Planning & Execution (40%)
- Assist in planning, coordinating, and executing corporate events, trade shows, client gatherings, team-building activities, and promotional campaigns.
- Manage event logistics including vendor coordination, venue selection, budgeting, registration, and on-site support.
- Track event metrics (attendance, satisfaction, ROI) and prepare post-event reports and recommendations.
- Support high-profile events such as product launches, networking mixers, or partnership celebrations.
Communications (30%)
- Draft and edit internal communications (newsletters, memos, announcements) and external materials (press releases, social media posts, email campaigns).
- Maintain and update company website content, blog posts, and marketing collateral.
- Support media relations efforts, including monitoring coverage and building media lists.
- Ensure consistent brand voice and messaging across all channels.
General Marketing Support (30%)
- Contribute to content creation for social media, email marketing, and digital campaigns.
- Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and audience insights to inform marketing strategies.
- Help manage marketing calendars, campaign timelines, and asset libraries.
- Support graphic design needs using tools like Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar (basic skills required).
- Analyze basic campaign performance using tools like Google Analytics, social insights, or email platforms.
- Assist with lead generation, CRM updates, and marketing database maintenance.
Requirement Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 0–2 years of professional experience in marketing, events, communications, or a related internship role.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Highly organized, able to manage multiple priorities, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Creative mindset with a collaborative team-player attitude.
- Willingness to work occasional evenings or weekends for events.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with marketing tools (e.g., Mailchimp,, Canva, etc).
- Experience with event coordination or social media management is a strong plus.
- Basic knowledge of graphic design, video editing, or photography.
- Familiarity with SEO, content marketing, or digital advertising platforms.
- Experience using project management tools.

Salary Range
The expected annual compensation range for this position is $50,000 to $62,000. This is a good faith estimate, and final compensation may vary based on experience and skills.
