Envestnet is seeking a Pricing Governance Manager to join our Finance department. This is a hybrid role, with in-office work required at our Berwyn, PA office location.

Job Summary:
The Pricing Governance Manager is responsible for ensuring consistent, disciplined, and transparent application of pricing policies across all customer deals. This role owns the governance framework that supports pricing decisions, including approval workflows, escalation thresholds, and documentation standards. The Pricing Governance Manager partners closely with Sales, Finance, Legal, Product, and Relationship Management to balance commercial flexibility with margin protection, risk management, and strategic objectives.
Job Responsibilities:
- Pricing Governance & Controls
- Support enforcement of pricing governance policies, approval matrices, and escalation thresholds across new deals and renewals.
- Ensure adherence to list pricing, discount guidelines, and renewal uplift strategies.
- Identify pricing exceptions or policy gaps and recommend enhancements to governance standards.
- Oversee pricing approvals for complex or non standard deals, ensuring decisions are well documented, consistent, and aligned with business strategy.
- Publish and own a pricing policy handbook
- Support enforcement of pricing governance policies, approval matrices, and escalation thresholds across new deals and renewals.
- Cross Functional Partnership
- Partner with Sales, Relationship Management, Finance, Legal, and Product on pricing related matters.
- Support go to market initiatives by helping ensure pricing aligns with product strategy and value positioning.
- Provide guidance to commercial teams on pricing policies, approval requirements, and governance expectations.
- Partner with Sales, Relationship Management, Finance, Legal, and Product on pricing related matters.
- Reporting, Analytics & Audit Readiness
- Own pricing governance reporting and KPIs, including price realization, discount trends, renewal performance, and win/loss tracking.
- Maintain accurate documentation of pricing approvals to support audit and compliance requirements.
- Support Senior Pricing Analysts with deal analysis.

- Process Improvement & Enablement
- Continuously improve pricing governance workflows to reduce deal cycle time.
- Support system and tooling enhancements that improve pricing visibility, documentation, and governance.

- Adherence to and application of Envestnet legal, compliance, risk, business continuity and administrative policy within the role and department(s) including the timely completion of training & awareness, affirmations and testing as requested.
- As part of the responsibilities for this role, you will understand and readily support Envestnet's established corporate business practices, policies, internal controls and procedures designed to create value or minimize risk.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, economics, or a related field required; advanced degree (MBA or equivalent) preferred.
- 7+ years of experience in pricing, deal desk, revenue operations, finance, or commercial governance roles.
- Experience in SaaS, fintech, wealth management, or enterprise technology industries preferred.
- Experience operating or supporting formal pricing governance or approval frameworks
- Strong ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders and operate effectively in a matrixed organization.
- High attention to detail with strong documentation and analytical skills.
- Willingness to learn with an analytical mindset, comfortable with working with large datasets to help identify trends, develop business insights, and suggest improved practices.
- Advanced Excel skills required; familiarity with PowerBI or similar visualization tools is a plus
