THE LOCATION:
Germany, Remote

THE ROLE
We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our Customer Retention team to cover IGEL Technology maintenance and subscription renewals for the EMEA region with a focus on the DACH region.

TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Build relationships and negotiate with existing customers, being the 'go to' account manager for customers and partners
  • Prepare quotes, review due dates, and administer full recovery of existing maintenance contracts
  • Work to bring in timely maintenance and renewals revenue personally through direct contact to our customers, but also leverage the field sales team and our partners when necessary
  • Conduct sales interactions with such accounts via telephone or over the internet to close identified renewals business; this will involve strong negotiation of pricing and spotting opportunities to up-sell
  • Work closely with the product team to give feedback on ways to improve retention
  • Train to become a sales expert on key products and become an advocate within the team; be able to articulate to the customer the constantly evolving technology and its application to a customer's business problem

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 3-5 years of experience in a customer facing role; experience within the IT sector is required; software sales/renewals experience desired
  • Customer focused; people-oriented and delivers exceptional customer service
  • Sales oriented; strong communication, negotiation and selling skills, strongly motivated by success and target-driven
  • Ability to follow a sales process, overcome objections and find solutions to those objections in order to maximize sales for IGEL Technology
  • Great phone presence
  • Ability to work well with internal and external (partner) teams and be a collaborative team player in cross-functional teams
  • Articulates professionally in both verbal and written communication
  • Ability to balance admin work while prioritizing revenue generation
  • Self-motivation, sense of responsibility and creativity
  • Fluent German and English language skills
