Senior Manager, Global Equity, Diversity and Inclusion

As a Global Commodity Manager for flavors and colors, you will lead the global sourcing strategy for Flavors and Colors across all four regions. This high-impact role ensures the availability of critical materials while optimizing for quality, cost, and service. You’ll work closely with R&D to support innovation and lead negotiations for new ingredients, playing a key role in shaping the future of our product portfolio.

This hybrid role can be based out of our offices in Battle Creek, MI, Chicago, IL, or Naperville, IL. You’ll join a high-performing, collaborative procurement team that values innovation, ownership, and results. With opportunities to influence global markets, drive high-stakes negotiations, and contribute to product innovation, this role is both dynamic and rewarding.

A Taste of What You’ll Be Doing

  • Category Strategy Development Lead the design and execution of global sourcing strategies for flavors and colors, aligned with financial and innovation objectives.
  • Supplier Negotiation & Engagement Drive value through strategic supplier negotiations and relationship management.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration Partner with R&D, Finance, and Operations to support innovation and ensure seamless supply continuity.
  • Financial Planning & Budgeting Develop and manage budgets and forecasts with precision, leveraging market insights and negotiation outcomes.
  • Savings Delivery & Risk Management Identify and execute cost-saving initiatives while ensuring material availability and mitigating supply risks.

We’re Looking for Someone With

  • High School Diploma or GED, with 5-7+ years of experience in procurement and category management
  • Demonstrated success in developing and executing sourcing strategies
  • Strong financial acumen and experience in budget planning and delivery
  • Deep understanding of procurement best practices and value creation levers
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex negotiations
  • Ability to navigate global landscape – stakeholders and suppliers. Work across global business needs, regional time zone differences as well as cultural nuances.

Compensation

The annual salary range is $109,000 - $143,115, which is based on various factors such as location, experience, and skill. Discretionary bonuses based on company and individual performance are also available.
