Description Overview

The Analyst, Strategic Customer Growth, will generate insights, analytics, and strategic recommendations that influence key customers and unlock revenue growth. This role supports the development and execution of demand-driving initiatives across top customers, and creates content for customer-facing engagements, including Top-to-Top and Joint Business Planning meetings. The ideal candidate brings customer experience, deep data expertise, and the ability to navigate ambiguity while pivoting quickly to the highest-value opportunities.

Scope of the Role

  • Execution of Demand-Driving Efforts: Support the planning, coordination, and execution of strategic growth initiatives across priority customers. Partner with Commercial, Marketing, Insights, Innovation, and Customer Teams to advance key initiatives from concept through implementation. Monitor initiative performance, track key milestones, and identify opportunities to improve impact and execution. Contribute to demand-driving programs designed to accelerate category growth, shopper engagement, and business performance.
  • Customer Strategy and Engagement: Support development of customer growth strategies and strategic selling stories for priority retail partners. Create compelling content and recommendations for Top-to-Top engagements, Joint Business Planning sessions, innovation workshops, and customer strategy discussions. Identify opportunities to strengthen retailer partnerships through insights-based recommendations that address customer priorities and business challenges. Help connect Perrigo capabilities, category opportunities, and customer needs to create mutually beneficial growth plans.
  • Opportunity Identification & Strategic Recommendations: Analyze consumer, shopper, category, customer, and marketplace trends to identify growth opportunities. Leverage Circana, panel, custom research, and customer-specific data to uncover actionable insights and develop business recommendations. Translate complex information into clear, customer-centric narratives that influence decision-making and support growth objectives. Assist in evaluating new opportunities, initiatives, and business concepts by developing fact-based analyses and recommendations.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Serve as a connector across teams to ensure that strategies, insights, and execution plans are integrated. Support communication between customer teams and internal partners to streamline decision-making and accelerate action.

Experience Required

  • Typically, the ideal candidate will have bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or related field and 3+ years of professional experience, at least 1 of which is in Sales, or an equivalent combination of education &/or experience.
  • Previous experience in direct selling and/or marketing to customers, demonstrated strong analytical skills, and solid understanding of the selling process.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills are essential, including oral and written communication. Collaborative; able to work as a member of a team.
  • Able to read and interpret quantitative and qualitative information, and make decisions from such information.
  • Works well under tight timelines and has ability to prioritize work in fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent judgment, follow-up, attention to detail and personal accountability.
  • Working knowledge of basic computer software and ability to communicate by telephone and in person.
