Detroit-based | Hybrid | Full Time
The Role
You will:
- Design & extend RIVET’s data pipeline & public-facing APIs
- Build software solutions to integrate with external data sources
- Interact directly with customers to discover & solve their data integration problems
- Manage cloud-based compute architectures
You have experience:
- Building and maintaining distributed nodejs services (Typescript)
- Designing, optimizing & querying SQL databases & data-intensive applications
- Integrating with external APIs
- Architecting & maintaining public-facing APIs
- Designing & managing cloud-based server architectures
- Interacting with customers to build product that solves their problems
You are:
- Excited about turning customer needs into product solutions
- An excellent communicator – frequent, high-quality & direct customer interaction is required
- Comfortable managing your own work in a fast-paced & ever-evolving environment
- Energized by building internal tools to optimize real-world workflows
Nice to have:
- Construction industry experience
- Expertise with Typescript, Node & Express
- Expertise with IaC ( Terraform, Pulumi, ARM, etc)
- React experience
