Main Responsibilities

As (Senior) Legal Counsel, you will play an important role in supporting our global commercial and procurement teams by providing practical legal guidance and contributing to key strategic initiatives. Your responsibilities will include:

• Providing legal support on global commercial and competition law matters.
• Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a broad range of commercial agreements, including CDAs, supply and procurement, licensing, agency and distribution, and contract manufacturing agreements.
• Supporting the implementation and optimization of the Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) system, digitalization, AI-driven solutions, and process improvement initiatives.
• Developing and maintaining standard contract templates and legal documentation.
• Supporting global commercial projects and advising cross-functional stakeholders on legal matters across multiple regions.
• Advising internal business partners on commercial legal issues and day-to-day business activities.
• Monitoring legal and regulatory developments affecting commercial and compliance matters.
• Assisting with legal disputes, external counsel coordination, legal training, and corporate governance initiatives.

What We Expect

We are looking for a motivated legal professional who enjoys working in an international environment and is eager to develop both legal expertise and business acumen.

You bring:

• A law degree or equivalent legal qualification; admission to practise law in at least one jurisdiction would be an advantage.Excellent written and spoken English.
• Relevant experience in a law firm and/or an international in-house legal environment:
  • For the Legal Counsel counsel level: First relevant experience in a law firm and/or international in-house legal environment is an asset.
  • For the Senior Legal Counsel level: Several years of relevant post-qualification experience, including substantial experience independently leading complex commercial negotiations and advising senior stakeholders.
• Strong interest and ideally demonstrated experience in international commercial law and cross-border legal work.
• Interest in legal technology, Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM), and AI-driven legal solutions.
• Well-organized, proactive, and solution-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to provide practical, business-focused legal advice.
• Knowledge of, or interest in, competition law, intellectual property, licensing, or procurement law.
• Collaborative mindset, accountability, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic international environment.
• Willingness to travel internationally on an occasional basis.
• The position is based at our office in Kiefersfelden, Germany.
