In July, PeerSignal found that 58% of the companies they’re tracking increased their headcount, up from 55% in June.

In addition to the ever-steady engineering roles, sales roles have been more resilient to the downturn.

Another reliance indicator seems to be a product-led growth strategy. PLG companies have seen more growth and been able to play “offense” rather than “defense” — we’re looking at you, Notion.
